So, I'm not usually one for preachy films who tell me that I'm a horrible person and wasting my life. But I have to say that I've watched this documentary twice already and it's incredible. I know many people out there believe that Global Warming is a theory and it's all propaganda. Untrue. I don't claim to be a scientist, I'm actually on the other end of the spectrum. However, it's a little hard to ignore what's right in front of our faces. The natural disasters, the rising temperatures and even the rise in respiratory problems should all show people that this isn't a problem that can be ignored.I often wonder how people can be so far in denial that they convince themselves that this is all just a media circus. Al Gore talked about the surgeon generals warning and how people convinced themselves that they didn't need to heed this 'hype'. We, as a human race, are not able to deal with major catastrophe, we ignored Katrina until it was too late. And now we're ignoring this.
Don't get me wrong. I realize that there a great many people who are doing everything in their power to stop Global Warming.
I'll have to admit, I'm all for warmer climates but not at this expense. I can always go on vacation to warm my chilled bones.
Stepping off the soapbox now. Thanks for listening, you can roll your eyes at me later ;)
