Well, no pretty pictures to post today but I would like to tell you all about my adventure Friday night. I very rarely go out. Mainly because I have school during the week and then I work every weekend (a lot of early Saturday and Sunday mornings for me).
Anyway, last week I was invited to attend a Mixer Crawl with some pals from the Archaeology Society. This is exactly what it sounds like.
Students form groups of about ten. Everyone meets at the campus bar and each team registers with the committee and gets a map of campus with a big red dot at the site of each mixer. The mission? Go to each societies Mixer and perform/answer something in order to recieve a playing card. At the end of the night you must return to the Campus Bar and whichever team can make the best poker hand out of their playing cards wins.
So the night started with a trip to the dorms (never lived in them myself) where we hung out with my friend V. We listened to music had some beers and then proceeded to apply makeup etc. just in case one of us got lucky :D.
We all congregate at V's room and I meet some nice people that I hadn't previously known. We head to Campus bar, register, and we're on our way....
