AC 360

So, I've been racking my brain trying to think of something interesting to blog about. Somehow I didn't think you all would be very intrigued about my recently acquired slovenly habits. Mid-semester break is giving me the chace to sleep late write for a while, laze around, read, laze some more, eat, and so on. This morning I perused my bookshelves in search of something to capture my interest during the wild snowstorm which has struck my province. 45 inches of snow later I glanced up from Anderson Cooper's Dispatches From the Edge and realized it was over. The winds has stopped howling and the snow has covered the ground making it a veritable Winter Wonderland outside.

I decided to blog about this wonderful book:

For those of you who don't know, Anderson Cooper is a Reporter for CNN. He has covered major world events, from biggest tragedies to those unseemingly unknown events that plague us. His story is a heartbreaking tale of travels in South Africa, Niger and East Timor to name a few. The devastating story of a boy named Aminu, and Anderson's journey as he reveals stories about himself and the tragic loss of his brother.

Now, I know some of you are thinking "Where does she come up with this stuff?" The truth is I happened upon Anderson Cooper quite by accident one night. I was having trouble sleeping and was flicking through the channels when I stopped on AC360. I've been hooked ever since.
To be honest, part of me watches it because I'm a chick and Anderson is hot. The other part of me watches it because it's a great program that really investigates interesting things.
Anyway, that's my blog on AC and his book. Hope I didn't bore you all too much. :D
